Rihanna’s “Last Girl On Earth” tour was supposed to kick off this Friday, July 2nd, in Auburn, WA, at the White River Amphitheatre. Unfortunately, “production changes,” according to Live Nation, has forced that show to be pulled.
Instead, the last girl will be starting things on July 4th in Vancouver, B.C., Canada at General Motors Place. Kind of a bummer, considering that isn’t a holiday for Canadians, but at least the tour will go on, and will still include opening acts Ke$ha and Nicki Minaj.
Refunds are being given at the point of purchase for fans who had Rihanna tickets to the Auburn show. Sorry!

There was a time when everyone from Ellen DeGenerous and Queen Latifah to Drew Barrymore and Rihanna were “Easy, breezy, beautiful” Covergirls. But now, they’ve been usurped by Taylor Swift.
Swift, 20, was recently named the new face of Covergirl, though her ads for the brand’s new luxury products won’t be out until January 2011.
“I have admired many of the CoverGirls since I was a little girl,” Swift said. “…It’s like a dream come true to be a part of the future of CoverGirl.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna–who is obviously still beautiful despite her Covergirl status–is in the midst of her European tour with stops in the U.K., Ireland, Greece, Turkey and Spain. U.S. fans who want Rihanna tickers can expect her back stateside for the second leg of her “Last Girl on Earth” tour on July 2.

Rihanna, like so many other celebrities, used the latest technology to react to the news of Michael Jackson’s death on June 25, 2009.
The media reported that Rihanna twittered to her followers a tweet that expressed her shock and disbelief. She wrote, “Truely saddened, hopefully the rumors aren’t true….. not believing anything until it’s confirmed.”
I’m also truly saddened that she doesn’t know how to spell “truly.” Elementary education RIP.
